Privacy Policy
1. General Provisions
This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") governs the processing and protection of personal data provided by individuals to the "Step to Peace" Charitable Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the "Foundation"). The Foundation is a non-profit organization acting on the basis of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On Charitable Activities and Charitable Organizations", the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection", and its own Statute.
The Foundation operates on the principles of humanity, legality, openness, and transparency (Statute, clause 1.11) and does not aim to make a profit.
2. What Data We Collect
Surname, first name, patronymic, date of birth;
Contact details (phone number, email, postal address);
Identification documents (passport, tax ID) and payment card/account details for processing charitable donations;
Information about the amount and purpose of the donation, as well as information about the assistance received or requested;
Data on volunteer or employment activities at the Foundation;
Photos, resumes (CV), cover letters (if available);
IP address, browser type, site usage data (via cookies).
3. Purpose of Personal Data Collection
Organization and administration of the Foundation's charitable programs and projects;
Accounting and confirmation of received charitable donations, preparation of financial reporting, which is open in accordance with clause 6.3 of the Statute;
Providing targeted assistance to beneficiaries and maintaining a registry of aid recipients;
Maintaining feedback with donors, beneficiaries, volunteers, and partners;
Improving the quality of the Foundation's services and conducting internal statistics;
Compliance with tax and other applicable legislation of Ukraine.
4. Who Has Access to Your Data
Authorized employees of the Foundation who have signed non-disclosure agreements;
Partner charitable organizations and government agencies – only within legal grounds or with the consent of the data subject;
Financial and payment providers for processing donations;
IT contractors providing hosting, payment processing, and technical support.
5. How We Store Data
Personal data is stored on secure servers with limited access. The retention period does not exceed the period necessary to achieve the purpose of processing or the period established by law or grant conditions. After these periods expire, the data is deleted or anonymized.
6. Rights of Personal Data Subjects
To receive confirmation of the fact of data processing and its content;
To demand correction, update, or deletion of inaccurate or excessive data;
To withdraw consent for processing at any time;
To file a complaint with the authorized body for personal data protection.
7. Publicity of Financial Information
According to clause 6.3 of the Foundation's Statute, information on the structure and amount of the Foundation's income and expenses is not confidential. Therefore, aggregated financial reports may be published in the public domain to ensure transparency.
8. Cookies
The Foundation's website uses cookies to correctly display content and statistics. You can refuse cookies by changing your browser settings, but this may limit the functionality of the site.
9. Changes to the Policy
The Foundation reserves the right to change this Policy. The current version is always available on the Foundation's website. In case of significant changes, we will notify registered users by email or other available means.
